  History of Computer ( कम्प्यूटर का इतिहास ) ABACUS ( अबेकस ) (Abundant Beads Addition and Calculation Utility System) Abacus Abacus was the first Mechanical calculating device for counting of large numbers. It is a rectangular wooden frame with wired mesh containing beads. It was used to perform addition and subtraction. Abacus one of the first counting machine to be invented, dates back to 600 B.C.
